So maybe, you are a little curious about the Christian Faith but unsure of the right Church or not sure where to head to for more info? It took us quite a few attempts at the whole Church thing before we felt comfortable. Look for a Church that has a BIG focus on the teaching of the Word because the Bible is the first place we should go to for answers for real life problems and to learn more about the nature of God. Head to your local Christian Bookshop and buy a Bible. There are some good ones out there that have commentary’s along side them which can be helpful when you’re just starting out. Start by reading the New Testament, the Gospel of Mark is a good one because it gives a good insight into the life and character of Jesus. Before you begin, simply ask God to reveal himself to you through His Word, and you know what He will!
P.S It will feel uncomfortable when you head into a Church for the first time…my only advice is to persevere for at least 6-8 weeks then make a decision, we did countless runners which only wasted time in getting to know God…
